Klucel G 1kg

Medium viscosity, non-ionic cellulose ether, soluble in water and in organic solvents: eg. ethanol, isopropanol, acetone with HO (9:1).
The dry Klucel film is flexible. Klucel is not sticky even in conditions with high ambient humidity. Klucel is only soluble in cold water (upton 38°C) and can therefore be used for fixing colours when warm water treatment is not possible ( Waterbath not below 45°C).

Dissolved in organic solvents, Klucel can be used with water-sensitive objects: in Ethanol (2%) for fixing flaking ink on velour parchment, to strengthen and impregnate water-sensitive leather and for glueing water-sensitive paper (here preparation up to30%).
